I can't believe I finally did it!
SoI have been lusting after these boots at freepeople.com. And they are retailing at $388.00!!
Crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Crazy because :
#1 who will pay that kind of money when they are selling VINTAGE boots.
okay okay the studs are put on by hand. But the shoes are USED. Which adds to their charm.
But I saw these and thought...I can totally make these.
So I found some vintage boots for 5 DOLLARS. And found a vintage stud belt for 5 dollars. And went to work last night.
Here they are!!!!!
and here is a photo from the freepeople website of the boots they are selling.
Mine are better!!
:P

tree houses day five
I woke up at what seemed like the crack of dawn to go to class. But once class was over I went over to 23rd street. I passed this park that had all these amazing tree houses. And the ground was covered in sand. I might go over there tommorow. Being that all the thrift stores are over there.
day five of six day project. one more day!!!

check them shoes yo
I went to a sample sale on my lunch break. The sample sale was Free People. And they had everything 75% off!
*faints*
*heart beating fast*
Holy smokes I really cannot believe Free People can get away with selling a sweater for $150.00.
Or a simple top for $125.oo. I mean reallyyyyy. Most of this stuff is made in india and made for one dollar and they have the nerve to sell it for such a price.
Their shoes are amazing though.....
Anyway there are my photos of the day of me passing through the garment district where people are selling sample sales like crazy.
check them shoes yo.
ehhm. those monster shoes are NOT from Free People.

day one
Day one of the six day project.
I woke to a cloudy morning today. And for some reason I always look at this house every morning. I enjoy the peaks and levels of the roof.
I then went to the library in midtown.
I then saw this interesting bench outside the library. It has a metal mesh cup holder...
I then passed saks holiday windows that are still on display.
oh and I found out I owe 68 dollars to the library. what the heck is that about!
oh and I attempted to make yorkshire pudding. It was okay. nothing fantastic. I will make it better next time.

A mini project
HI!
I am starting a mini project for myself. A "test" so to speak. Where I will be carrying my camera everyday starting January 6th through the 11th. I will document what I see. While posting some photos on my flickr, most of the photos will be documented on this blog.
